Problem Note 53736: SAS® Web Report Studio displays a NullPointerException when you attempt to use a hidden category in a conditional highlighting rule

SAS Web Report Studio does not support conditional highlighting for hidden data items. All hidden data items should be excluded from the Conditional Highlighting dialog box. However, depending on your version of SAS Web Report Studio, you might be able to select a hidden alphanumeric category. If you do so, then you see the following error:
